What Are QCTO Courses?
QCTO stands for the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations, a South African quality council responsible for the quality assurance of occupational qualifications and skills programmes under its mandate.
QCTO programmes are designed to develop the knowledge, practical abilities and workplace competencies needed for specific occupations. Unlike general skills development courses, QCTO occupational qualifications follow formal requirements and assessment standards associated with the relevant registered programme.
These programmes provide a structured learning pathway for individuals who want to work towards an occupational qualification or develop specialised skills relevant to their chosen field.
